Here at The Green Village, we see the value in everyone. Your donations will be promoting initiatives to serve the people who need them most. The Green Village team believe in taking action with the urgency to raise public awareness about some of the most pressing issues facing Afghanistan today. We want to be the catalyst for positive change, and since our beginnings in 2020, we have been driven by the same ideas we initially founded the charity upon; support, empowerment, and progress.

Origin of the name - The Green Village
The name of the charity represents the village that the founders are from, 'Sabzi Khel', which translates to 'Green Village'. It is a lush green area with the best mulberry in the country. It is located in the region of Parvān in Afghanistan - some 43 miles (or 69 km) north of Kabul, the country's capital city.
Founded by six siblings, The Green Village is a way of giving back a little and appreciating what we take for granted here in the UK.
We aim to connect people around the world in the fight to end poverty within Afghanistan.
We envision an Afghanistan where all people, regardless of their ethnicity, sex or religion, have the best opportunity to create a better life for themselves and others around them.
